Nicknamed the “King of Bitters”, the Indian Echinacea (or Andrographis Paniculata (Burm. f.) Nees) is an herbaceous plant that has been used for hundreds of years in Ayurvedic medicine. Growing up to 1 meter high, it is distinguished in appearance by its small white flowers with spots ranging from brown to purple. Its leaves are rich in andrographolides, molecules known for their many benefits.
